Monday Morning Links

Happy Monday everyone. This week at The Dream Factory, one of our writers will write about the pros and cons of a film he saw recently and give it a grade accordingly. I think that's how film blogs are done. Here are some articles to consider while not being efficient at work:

*The always bubbly Ann Hornaday examines the recent Hollywood explosion of "romaction" films. Allow me to be the first to declare a moratorium on the word "bromaction."

*According to something called Super Hero Hype, Inception director Christopher Nolan will not be recasting The Joker as the villian of the third installment of his Batman series.

*Finally, the formerly prestigious Maui Film Festival has decided to honor Zac Efron as part of its "Trust the Future" theme. Apparently Justin Bieber was booked that weekend...

Enjoy your trip to the movies this week. Let me know if you find one worth watching.

Aren't most action movies already "bromaction" films? Especially buddy cop movies.

A remake of 48 Hrs. starring Zac Efron and Justin Bieber would be the gayest thing since Hairspray.

I'm ok with bromaction (hypothetically...rarely in practice). I just have a problem with the terminology.
