Monday Morning Links

Hello everyone. This week, I'll be reviewing the anemic "Robin Hood," R.G. will be tackling "The Ghost Writer," and Ben will find true love on Flag Day. In the meantime, here are a few links to tide you over:

*Only one week left in the Cannes Film Festival. Here is the official site, with previews of upcoming films and some interesting interviews with actors and directors.

*Fellow blogger Richard Hourula encourages us to "accept the mystery" of films with ambiguous endings...particularly when they are made by the Coen Brothers. I think he has a point.

Or does he?

*Nearly a month after the Cantor Exchange, a proposed marketplace for betting on future box office revenue, received approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, its future remains in doubt. Hollywood and Congress are pushing back. Too bad, because I have a really good feeling about "Shrek Forever After."
